Plushenko called the criticism of Tutberidze addressed to refereeing at the Grand Prix Unjust
Two-time Olympic champion Yevgeny Plushenko in his Telegram channel responded to the honored coach of Russia Eterie Tutberidze, who, after the performance of skaters in the female single skating in the final of the junior Grand Prix of the country, criticized the work of judges.
“Three ultra-si in an arbitrary program cannot win from five ultra-ss! Alas!” – Plushenko wrote, calling criticism unfair. He emphasized that when falling, the components cannot be higher than those who skated the program cleanly and with the same jumping content.
Tutberidze spoke on Saturday, March 1. The coach noted that her second pupil Alice of Twaglazova deserved more victory in the Grand Prix.
The winner of the final of the junior Grand Prix was Plushenko Elena Kostyleva. The third place was taken by Margarita Bazilyuk, who also trains under the leadership of Tutberidze.
