The athlete said that he gave the car to his father. “Whether he sold it or kept it for himself, I don’t know,” he added. Rublev stressed that the Olympic Games for him are competitions outside tennis, since for them he does not receive either money or points, while they allow him to get the love of fans.
24-year-old Rublev is on the fifth line of the world ranking of the Association of Professional Tennis Players (ATP). He has eight victories in tournaments under the auspices of the organization. At the Olympic Games in Tokyo, he won a gold medal in mixed doubles with Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova. As part of the Russian national team, Rublev won the 2021 Davis Cup.
