The 49-year-old Chusovitina who played for the USSR won bronze at the World Cup stage
The Uzbek gymnast Oksana Chusovitina, who advocated the USSR national team, won bronze at the stage of the World Cup in a Cottobus (Germany). It is reported by Sport-Express.
The athlete was the third in supporting with a result of 13.249 points. The winner of the competition was the representative of Slovenia Thea Belak with a result of 13.299 points. Silver at the other Slovenca Tyasa Kisslef (13,266).
Chusovitina has been acting on a professional level since 1990. She went down in history as the only gymnast who took part in the eight Olympic Games (1992, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020).
Earlier it became known that Russian gymnasts began to receive neutral status to participate in international tournaments. Among them are the Olympic champions in sports gymnastics Angelina Melnikova and Victoria Listunova.
