Without Neymar and Messi, PSG turns on Angers with goal from Mbappé

This Friday, Paris Saint-Germain and Angers faced each other for the tenth round of the French Championship. At Parque dos Príncipes, Maurício Pochettino’s team won 2-1, in a comeback, with goals from Danilo and Mbappé. Angelo Fulgini cashed for visitors. Neymar and Messi did not go to the field, as they played in the fifth for Brazil and Argentina, respectively, in the Qualifiers.

With the result, the Parisians continue in the lead, with 27 points. Gerard Baticle’s team is in fourth place, with 16.

In the next round, PSG will face Olympique de Marseille, on Sunday (24/10), at 15:45 (GMT). Angers, in turn, will visit Saint-Étienne, next Friday, at 4 pm (GMT).

The game – In the first half, the owners of the house arrived in danger after six minutes. Mbappé ran into the area trying to complete a cross, but ended up finishing outside.

Then, the visitors started to create good plays, until they opened the scoring after 36 minutes. Sofiane Boufal crossed into the area and found Angelo Fulgini, who just pushed the ball into Donnarumma’s net.

In the second stage, PSG reached a draw in the 24th minute. Mbappé received it on the right after a corner kick and crossed the ball to Danilo to send it to the back of the net.

On minute 40, after a review by the VAR, the referee scored a penalty from Pierrick Capelle, in a move that Icardi headed the ball into the Angers player’s arm. Mbappé took the lead and turned the score to the Parisian team.
