The sports director of Magnitogorsk Metallurg, Yevgeny Biryukov, answered the reluctance of the Russian striker of the National Hockey League (NHL) Pittsburgh Penguins Evgeny Malkin to complete his career in Russia. His words are given by Sport24.
Biryukov said that Metallurg will be happy to organize a farewell match for Malkin. “He is the legend of not only our city, but the whole country, glorifies our hockey over the ocean,” he emphasized.
Earlier, Malkin said he would end his career in Pittsburgh. He emphasized that he would not spend the farewell season in Russia.
