In Kursk, the football player of the local Vanguard Dmitry Malykhin was sentenced to prison. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the United press service of the judicial system of the Kursk region.

24 sportsmen were convicted of beating a 46-year-old neighbor in May 2024. “Malykhin made a claim to the victim that he offended the girl Malykhina. Malykhin invited her to apologize, rising to their apartment, and when the victim refused, he delivered one blow to him with his fist in the face, and then hit the ribs, causing his actions serious harm to the health of a man, ”the statement said.

During the hearing, Malykhin pleaded guilty and paid the victim compensation for non -pecuniary damage in the amount of 350 thousand rubles. The defense side requested a conditional punishment for him, but the court sentenced the player under Part 1 of Article 111 (“intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation to two years in prison in a general regime colony.

Malykhin plays for the Vanguard since February 2024. In the current season, he held 17 matches in all tournaments as part of the team, scored two goals and made one effective program.
