Coach Borodavko: There are no decisions on the participation of the Bolshunov skier in Italy
The senior coach of the Russian national team Yuri Borodavko answered the question of the further participation of the skier Alexander Bolshunov in races in Italy. His words are given by RIA Novosti.
The specialist said that there is no final decision on this issue. He emphasized that Bolshunov is still restored, but does not refuse to participate. It is noted that the decision on the performance in two more races in Italy will be made based on the well -being of the skier.
On February 13, Bolshunov won the international Sudtirol Moonlight race 30 kilometers in classic style. These are the first international competitions for the athlete over the past three years.
The restrictions on the performance of Russians by the International Federation of Ski Racing and Snowboard (FIS) were imposed in March 2022. Since that moment, representatives of Russia have been suspended from international tournaments.
