Medvedev about Doping Sinner: I hope that now everyone will be able to agree with WADA
Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev appreciated the three -month disqualification of the first racket of the world Yannik Sinner for violating anti -doping rules. His words are given by Univers Tennis in the social network X.
“I hope that now everyone will be able to negotiate with the World Anti -Doping Agency (WADA) and protect themselves like Yannik Sinner. If they say: “We have found doping, this is two years,” you will answer: “No, I want one month,” Medvedev said. He also expressed the hope that in this way a precedent was created, because otherwise, it would be strange.
On February 15, WADA reported that it entered into an agreement on the settlement of the Sinner case. The athlete received removal from February 9 to May 4, 2025, and WADA officially revoked the appeal to the sports arbitration court.
Sinner failed two doping tests in March 2024, but initially escaped disqualification. The Italian explained that the metabolite of clostobol in low concentrations entered his body due to the processing of the wound with spray.
