Biathlonist Johannes Be won a sprint at the World Cup and broke the Bjurndalen record

Norwegian biathlete Johannes Ba won the Golden Award in the Sprint at the 2025 World Cup (World Cup), which takes place in the Swiss Lenzersheida. The results are available on the website of the International Biathlon Union (IBU).

The athlete overcame a distance of ten kilometers in 21 minutes 56.8 seconds, without making a single miss. In second place is the American Campbell Wright with a lag of 27.7 seconds and without mistakes. The third was the Frenchman Kenten Fiion Maya with a lag of 37 seconds and one miss.

Thus, Johannes Bea won the 21st gold at the world championships. He broke the record of the compatriot Ule-Einar Bjornadalen.

On January 18, the five-time Olympic champion Johannes Bea announced that he would end his career at the end of the season-2024/2025.
