The city of the comradely match of the national teams of Russia and Belarus in football in 2025 became known. This was announced by the First Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Football Federation Andrei Vasilevich, whose words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
Vasilevich said that the game will be held in Minsk, and the stadium will be determined later. “The new stadium has not yet been put into operation. Today there is only the Dynamo stadium, which we can count on. At the venue of the match, we will navigate based on the deadlines for the opening of a new stadium, ”he said.
The match will take place on June 10. The time of the start of the meeting will be announced later.
Since March 2022, Russian teams and clubs have not been participating in the draws of international tournaments due to sanctions by the International Football Federation (FIFA) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). The teams only conduct comradely matches.
