The athlete called the decision a provocation and an attempt to probe the soil to weaken anti -Russian sanctions. Saladukha called on athletes to boycott the tournament if Bolshunov would participate in it.
Earlier, the organizers of Sudtirol MoonLight said that European skiers will not boycott the race due to the participation of a Russian. They stated that they received messages in connection with the participation of Russian athletes, but there were no politically motivated failures.
The participation of the three -time Olympic champion Bolshunov in the Sudtirol MoonLight Classic race became known on February 10.
