The head of UAF Shevchenko said that Tymoshchuk does not exist in Ukrainian football
The head of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF), the holder of the 2004 Golden Ball Andrei Shevchenko appreciated the work of the coach Anatoly Tymoshchuk in the St. Petersburg Zenit. His words are given by RBC.
“Tymoshchuk does not exist and will not exist in Ukrainian football,” Shevchenko said. He emphasized that this is an unambiguous position of the entire Ukrainian community and his personally. The head of the UAF added that he doesn’t care that Tymoshchuk won an appeal in CAS.
On November 18, the sports arbitration court (CAS) granted Tymoshchuk’s appeal. The Ukrainian was returned to the titles of the winner and silver medalist of the Championship of Ukraine, the holder of the Cup and Super Cup of the country, which he won as part of Shakhtar.
In March 2022, Tymoshchuk was deprived of the coaching license and the titles were deprived of Tymoshchuk. In addition, the coach was forbidden to engage in football activities in Ukraine.
