The Russian football player Paoka from Thessaloniki Magomed Ozdoeva faces a prison in Greece. The reason is a skirmish with the fans of the opponent, the Athenian Aek, in the parking lot after the defeat in the first quarterfinals of the Greece Cup.

What threatens Paok players who participated in a fight?
Initially, it became known that the head coach of Paoka Lucescu and his assistants, who left the bus first, disqualified for four months and fined 15 thousand euros, and sanctions were also applied to the club, imposing a fine of 30 thousand euros. Later, information appeared that four football players, including Ozdoev, received a ten -match disqualification and threat of criminal prosecution. The most stringent measure of punishment in this case is called three months of prison, but in the Greek media do not believe that the situation will accept such a turn. Rather, it is only about an increase in purely football disqualification.
It is noteworthy that the problems of the players began a few matches after the incident. Before that, they managed to go on a field in several meetings, including playing a draw in a response fight with Aek and fly out of the Greece Cup. PAOK leaders states that the club will appeal all decisions on disqualification and achieve their cancellation or at least reduction.
The disciplinary committee, becoming a model of personal attacks, is trying to destroy PAOK, removing the head coach from participating in matches almost until the end of the season. According to the latest data, the criminal case was nevertheless instituted, but not against individual players, but against Paok as a whole. The club’s statement states that additional disciplinary sanctions will not be applied to the Ozdoev and the rest of those who participated in the fight. Note that another Russian Fedor Chalov plays in Paok. But he did not take part in the brawl.
