Hockey players of the Turkmenistan national team attacked the players of the Hong Kong team after the group stage match at the winter Asian games held in Chinese Harbin. This was reported on the website of the Olympic Committee Hong Kong (SF & OC).
The incident occurred during the post -match handshakes, three Turkmen hockey players became instigators. As a result of a mass fight, two players of the Hong Kong team required medical care. The victory in the game with a score of 5: 1 won Hong Kong.
“The Hong Kong Olympic Committee appealed to the International Hockey Federation (IIHF), the Asian Olympic Council (OCA) and the relevant organizations participating in the organization of games with a request to take disciplinary measures,” the SF & OC statement said.
Winter Asian games are held in Harbin from February 7 to 14. Turkmenistan and Hong Kong will take part in the comforting round of the hockey tournament.
