John Terry is back to Chelsea. This Wednesday, the London team announced that the former defender will exercise a consultant role in the club’s youth categories.

You Blues reported that the idol will work with the young players and coaching staff on a development program.
The 41-year-old former player, who was an Aston Villa assistant, will take up his new role part-time. He will contribute discussions with peers, guidance and conversations with the athletes’ parents.
Chelsea also said that the former player’s contract aims to maintain flexibility. In this way, he will also have the possibility to continue studying football in order to become a coach in the future.
One of Chelsea’s greatest idols, John Terry played 713 official matches for the club, scoring 51 goals and 19 assists. It is the third athlete with more games with the team shirt.
