Coach Rotenber: SKA’s guilt in the detention of a ten-year-old fan due
The head coach of the St. Petersburg SKA Roman Rotenberg appreciated the detention of a ten-year-old fan by the police due to an abandoned cap during the regular championship of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) against the Kazan Ak Bars. His words are given by Match TV.
The specialist said that SKA’s guilt is not in this situation, since the security on SKA-Arena is a legally separate organization from the club. “This story pushes us to the fact that maybe we even need to revise the law,” Rotenberg said.
The reason for the detention was that the fan Andrei Domarev and his ten-year-old son Roman threw a cap on the ice after the striker of Ak Bars, Artem Galimov made a hat-trick. After that, representatives of the St. Petersburg club asked Domarev to proceed to the police department. The request to postpone the procedure before the end of the match was refused.
It is noted that a protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up on Domareva. Andrei and his son were able to leave the ice arena only at 23:00 Moscow time.
