Mudrika player “Chelsea” can disqualify with a negative doping product
Midfielder of the national team of Ukraine and the London Chelsea Mikhail Mudrik wanted to disqualify even in the event of a negative result of the doping test test B. reported by journalist Ben Jacobs on his page on the social network X.
Jacobs said the test B is tested for the presence of meldonium and a number of other substances. In his opinion, at the same time, the football association of England (FA) may decide on the disqualification of the Ukrainian player only on the basis of a positive test result and, however, for a shorter period.
On December 17, 2024, it became known that in the blood of the 23-year-old midfielder, Chelsea discovered prohibited substances after an unscheduled audit. He later passed the testing on the polygraph.
Mudrik moved to Chelsea from Shakhtar in January 2023 for 70 million euros. In the current season, the Ukrainian took part in the seven matches of the English Premier League and was not noted by effective actions.
