Thousands of francs want to recover with Valieva for an unsuccessful appeal
The World Anti -Doping Agency (WADA) is trying to contact the representatives of the Russian skater Kamila Valieva on the fine in connection with the rejected appeal to the Switzerland Supreme Court. It is reported by TASS.
It is noted that last year Valieva’s appeal to the decision of the sports arbitration court on its four -year disqualification for violation of the anti -doping rules rejected the Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland. According to the decision, the athlete should pay compensation in the amount of eight thousand Swiss francs to the International Skating Union and WADA.
Earlier it was reported that Valieva did not return the medals taken from her doping. The gold of the European Championship should go to the Russian woman Anna Shcherbakova. The title of Russian champion-2022 should receive Alexander Trusov. In addition, Valieva should return the medals of two more championships of Russia, as well as three stages and one final of the country’s Grand Prix.
