Ak Bars called the detention of a ten -year -old fan at the KHL match unjust

Representatives of the Kazan “Ak Bars” responded to the police detention of a ten-year-old fan due to abandoned cap during the regular championship of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) against the St. Petersburg SKA. It is reported by “Match TV”.

The Kazan Club called the situation unjust and contradicting the goals of the KHL and clubs to popularize sports. They stated that a young fan instead of positive experience at visiting the hockey arena received only stress.

The reason for the detention was that the fan Andrei Domarev and his ten-year-old son Roman threw a cap on the ice after the striker of Ak Bars, Artem Galimov made a hat-trick. After that, representatives of the St. Petersburg club asked Domarev to proceed to the police department. The request to postpone the procedure before the end of the match was refused.

It is noted that a protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up on Domareva. Andrei and his son were able to leave the ice arena only at 23:00 Moscow time.
