Tikhonov called himself a beggar and said that he lives on three pensions of 140 thousand rubles. “Olympic – 52 thousand. Officer as a retired lieutenant colonel – 62 and 26 from his native region, ”he explained.
The former biathlonist said that he used to have 11 cars. “I came to the Olympic Committee every day for different ones. Today on Mercedes 600, tomorrow on Bentley, then on Chevrolet. Well, why not, if I can afford? ” – noted Tikhonov. In addition, he had a collection of 43 rifles and carbines.
