All participants in the playoffs of the Europa League in the season-2024/2025 were determined. This was reported by the correspondent “Lenta.ru”.
In the next stage of the tournament, 24 clubs were published. They decided on the results of the general stage, in which 36 teams performed.
Eight best clubs received direct tickets to the 1/8 finals. They were Lazio, Athletic (Bilbao), Manchester United, Tottenham, Aintracht, Lyon, Olympiacos and Rangers.
The rest of the teams will take part in the butt matches for the right to take part in the 1/8 finals. These are “Bude-Glimt”, “Anderlecht”, “Stayaa”, “Ajax”, “Real Sociedad”, “Galatasaray”, “Roma”, “Victoria Pilsen”, “Ferencvarosh”, “Porto”, “Az Alkmar”, “Midthullann”, “Union”, PAOK, Twente and Fenerbach.
Russian clubs are not allowed to international tournaments because of sanctions by the International Football Federation (FIFA) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).
