Also, according to preliminary information, the winner of the USSR Figure Skating Championship in pairs, student Tatyana Tarasova Inna Volyanskaya, died in a plane crash.
On January 30, a passenger plane crashed in Washington near Ronald Reagan Airport. The airliner, when landing, collided with a military helicopter and fell into the Potomak River.
