Earlier it became known that in the US aircraft crawling in the USA there were world champions in pairing from Russia Evgeny Shishkov and Vadim Naumov. Also on board was their son Maxim Shishkov, who took fourth place at the US championship.

According to preliminary information, the bronze medalist of the USSR Figure Square Championship in pairs, a student of Tatyana Tarasova Inna Volyanskaya, was in a broken liner. Recently, she trained Ashburn Ice House from Virginia.

The passenger plane crashed in the United States near the Ronald Reagan airport. The airliner, when landing, collided with a military helicopter and fell into the Potomak River.
