The sports and disciplinary committee of the Continental Hockey League (KHL) disqualified the striker of the Yaroslavl Lokomotiv Maxim Shalunov, who traumed the player of the Dynamo Moscow Artem Ilyenko. This was reported on the League website.

Shalunov for the push with a club is disqualified for two matches, in addition, he will pay a cash fine, the size of which is not specified. Ilyenko will miss at least a month as a result of Shalunov’s actions.

The episode with the participation of Shalunov and Ilyenko occurred in the match Lokomotiv and Dynamo on January 27 during the throwing. The player of Lokomotiv pressed the opponent with a club in the knee area, he fell on the ice and could not continue the game. Shalunov received a five -minute fine.
