Fedor Emelianenko complained about age

Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Fedor Emelianenko said that at the age of 25-30 he had much more physical strength than now. The athlete spoke in a documentary, which was published on the Okko Sports YouTube channel.

The Russian complained that he was no longer what he was before. “I really don’t like it,” added the fighter. Emelianenko also noted that with age, it became much more difficult for him to recover.

At the same time, the athlete thanked God for being still in the ranks. He added that he has not lost motivation and is happy to continue his sports career.

On October 23, Emelianenko will fight at the first ever Bellator tournament in Russia. The last heavyweight fight was held in December 2019 in Japan. Then he knocked out former UFC and Pride fighter Quinton Jackson.

In total, he has 46 fights in which he won 39 victories and suffered six defeats. Another fight was declared invalid.
