Cédrine Kerbaol (WNT) won the sixth stage of the Tour de France This Friday, August 16, of 160 kilometers, between the towns of Remiremont and Morteau, while the Polish Katarzyna Niewiadoma (Canyon//SRAM Racing) remains the leader of the overall standings arriving at the finish line in the peloton 21 seconds behind the winner.

Kerbaol’s victory at the finish in Morteau came after escaping in a decisive attack less than ten kilometres from the finish lineto arrive alone, after overtake Dutchwoman Marianne Vos (Team Visma) and to the German Liane Lippert (Movistar Team)second and third respectively 21 seconds behind the French.

Niewiadoma remains the leader in the overall standingswith 16 seconds ahead of the French Kerbaol and 19 seconds behind American Kristen Faulkner (EF Oatly Cannondale).
