Russian canoeist Romasenko fails to reach 2024 Olympic semifinals
Russian canoeist Olesya Romasenko failed to reach the semi-finals of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. This was reported by a correspondent for Lenta.ru.
Romasenko finished fourth in the quarterfinals. She covered the 200-meter distance in 47.92 seconds. The canoeist will not be able to compete for medals, since only the athletes who took the first two places will advance to the next stage.

Romasenko is the only Russian representative in women’s canoeing. She, like her 14 other compatriots, competed at the Paris Games under a neutral flag.
