Real Sociedad signs Claire Lavogez for the 2024-25 season

Real Sociedad have signed midfielder Claire Lavogez for the 2024-25 seasonaccording to the San Sebastian club on Monday. The 30-year-old player arrives at Real from Kansas City Current; an international with France, and three-time Champions League winner with Olympique Lyon, Lavogez has highlighted that she is joining a “historic” club: “Coming here is great for me”he said, in statements released by Real.
The Guipuzcoan team emphasises that its new player is a player with “a lot of experience”. She has played in the top division of France for FCF Hénin-Beaumont, Montpellier Hérault SC and Girondins de Bordeaux, as well as for Olympique Lyon. In the last two seasons, she has been a member of Kansas City Current, from which she joins Real.
“It’s a great experience for me,” said Claire Lavogez: “I came from the United States, which was already a great experience, and now, the fact of coming here, to a historic club and an institution like Real Sociedad, is great for me,” she said.
