Irene Paredes, Oihane Hernández, Lucía García and Elene Lete They will play this Friday, August 9, at 3:00 p.m., with the Spanish national team, against Germany, to win the bronze medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Irene Paredes started and Oihane Hernández played the second half in the Brazil-Spain match, which ended with a clear victory for the Brazilian team. Paredes herself scored, an own goal, the first goal for Brazil, in the sixth minute, and Gabi Portilho, just before the break, and Adriana and Kerlin, in the second half, scored the goals for the Brazilian team; Salma Paralluelo scored both goals for Spain, making the temporary score 3-1 and the final score 4-2.
In the other semi-final, the United States beat Germany 1-0 in extra time, with a goal scored by Sophia Smith. The United States and Brazil will thus play the grand final this coming Saturday.
