Arsenal announced on Friday the sale of midfielder Emile Smith Rowe to Fulham. The player signed with the English team on a five-year contract until 2029, with the option of an extension for a further 12 months.
Smith Rowe emerged at Arsenal as one of the club’s great promises, so much so that he took on the number 10 shirt. However, he suffered a lot of injuries in recent years and lost his place in the squad.
Last season, the 24-year-old midfielder played just 19 games, starting just four of them, scoring no goals and providing two assists.
From Hale End to the first team. 55, 32, and then our number 10.

Now at Fulham, Emile hopes to return to playing regularly and rediscover the good form he showed at the beginning of his career.
“I’m finally here so I’m really happy for myself and my family – it’s a good time. I’m really excited, I just wanted to get here as quickly as possible so I can start working with my teammates,” Smith Rowe said of his arrival at Fulham.
“Listening to the project, speaking to the manager and seeing the players we already have here, I think it’s an exciting project for me and definitely the perfect step for my career going forward,” he concluded.
