Euskaltel’s Luis Ángel Maté wins the fourth stage of the Volta a Portugal

The Spanish Luis Angel Mate (Euskaltel-Euskadi) has won this Sunday the Fourth stage of the Volta a Portugalwhich was also marked by the fainting and subsequent abandonment of one of the favorites of the test, the Uruguayan Mauricio Moreira.
Maté covered the route between the towns of Sabugal and Guarda in 4 hours and 58 minutes, one second less than the Portuguese Rafael Reis (Sabgal/Anicolor) and seven less than his compatriot Iñigo Elosegui (Kern Pharma).
The general ranking continues to be led by the Portuguese Afonso Euláliofrom ABTF Betão-Feirense, followed by the Swiss Colin Stussi (Team Vorarlberg) and the Basque Jon Agirre (Kern Pharma).
