Kostomarov wished good luck to Russian tennis players participating in the 2024 Olympics

Olympic ice dancing champion Roman Kostomarov spoke about his attitude towards the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. His words are quoted by Sport24.

The athlete admitted that he would follow tennis and addressed the Russians participating in the tournament. “Both Daniil Medvedev and our girls – good luck to everyone, and better yet, victories. Prove and show everyone that we are truly a country that breeds champions,” Kostomarov said.

The figure skater added that he would try to follow other sports if he had free time. “Although interest in the Olympics has, of course, generally declined,” Kostomarov noted.

The opening ceremony of the Olympics will take place on July 26, the Games will end on August 11. Fifteen Russian athletes will compete in the competition as neutrals, seven of whom are tennis players.
