Valieva reacted emotionally to her father’s interview

After her father’s interview, Valieva said that her mother is her real family

Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva reacted emotionally to the interview with Valery Ramazanov’s father. She dedicated a post to this on her Telegram channel.

“In this regard, I would like to remind you how much I love my mother! And thank her for the fact that throughout my entire adult life, only my mother raised me, worried about my future, worried and was my support and support all these years,” the athlete wrote. She stated that her real and beloved family is only her mother, Alsu Valieva.

Earlier, Ramazanov gave an interview to Sport24, in which he spoke about his relationship with his daughter. He shared that he had not seen her for almost ten years, but tried to follow her progress. The man also revealed Valieva’s desire to enter MGIMO in a year and compete in the 2026 Winter Olympics.

On January 29, the Court of Arbitration for Sport disqualified Valieva for four years for violating anti-doping rules. Traces of the banned drug trimetazidine were found in the skater’s sample from December 2021. Due to the disqualification, the skater was stripped of the gold medal in the 2020 Games in the team competition, as well as the titles of the champion of Russia and Europe.
