Alina Zagitova on her ice show: in Muslim style, but with elements of fashion
Olympic figure skating champion Alina Zagitova has revealed details of her preparation for her own ice show. She spoke about this in an interview with the YouTube channel ALEK Ó.
Zagitova shared that she took part in creating sketches for the costumes. She noted that the show will be dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan. “We are trying to do something in the Muslim style, but with elements of such fashion,” the figure skater noted.
Zagitova announced the ice show “Time Keepers” in early July. The shows will take place on August 29 and 31 in Kazan.
Zagitova is the only Russian singles skater to have won all the world figure skating titles. She won the 2018 Olympics, became the World and European Champion, and also the winner of the Grand Prix Final. In 2019, she paused her career to focus on her work as a TV presenter.
