Manchester United refuses Sevilla loan proposal by Martial

THE Manchester United refused, on Tuesday, the loan proposal of the Sevilla by Anthony Martial. According to the British newspaper Daily Mail, the English club did not agree with the terms presented by the Spanish team.

According to the publication, Sevilla intended to have the French striker until the end of this season. However, the initial idea was not to include a mandatory purchase clause – which displeased the Red Devils.

In addition, the team from Spain also did not propose to pay Martial’s salary in full. The 26-year-old athlete earns around 200,000 pounds a week (R$1.5 million) and has a contract until June 2024.

United coach Ralf Rangnick has already talked to the player, understood his desire to change teams and allowed him to leave.

purchased from Monaco in 2015 for 60 million euros (R$ 383 million currently), Martial has experienced ups and downs in Manchester. In total, he played 268 games, scoring 79 goals and 50 assists – this season, he played only ten games and hit the net once.
