Argentina files complaint with FIFA after match with Morocco at 2024 Paris Olympics
The Argentine Football Association (AFA) has filed a complaint with the International Football Federation (FIFA) following the match against Morocco at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. This was reported on the AFA website.
The organization demanded that FIFA ensure the safety of the football players. “We, for our part, will also do everything necessary to ensure that this happens,” the statement said.
Earlier it became known that the match of the first round of the group stage of the men’s football tournament of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris between the national teams of Argentina and Morocco was finished after two hours. This happened because fans of the Moroccan team ran onto the field.
The Paris Olympics will be held from July 26 to August 11. The current winner of the men’s Olympic football tournament is Brazil.
