OnlyFans account found on Cyprus Olympic flag bearer Kulichenko

Former Russian track and field athlete Elena Kulichenko, who was born in Odintsovo but changed her citizenship to Cypriot, was found to have an OnlyFans account, the Greek portal eReportaz reported.

On a platform selling explicit content, photos and videos of a naked athlete were found. The Cyprus Olympic Committee was immediately notified of the incident. The committee’s representatives asked Kulichenko to remove the page.

She will participate in the Olympic Games (OG), which will be held in France from July 26 to August 11.

Kulichenko to be Cyprus flag bearer at 2024 Olympics

The 21-year-old has been named one of the two flag bearers for the Cypriot team at the upcoming Paris Olympics, carrying the flag of her new homeland alongside Cypriot athlete Milan Trajkovic.

After the girl renounced her Russian citizenship in 2021, she entered the University of Georgia in the United States. Her latest award for the Russian team was a silver medal at the 2021 Russian Junior Championship.

At the 2023 Universiade in Chengdu, China, Kulichenko took second place, setting a personal best (1.91 meters). In July 2024, the athlete representing Cyprus won gold at the European U23 Championships in Espoo, Finland. The gold medal was the first time in the history of the island that such a high award was won at the European U23 Championships.

Athlete Refuses to Delete OnlyFans Account Ahead of 2024 Games

After information about the account of Cypriot athlete Elena Kulichenko on the adult portal was brought to the attention of the island’s Olympic Committee, the athlete was asked to delete it, but she refused.

According to Greek City Time, the 21-year-old’s lawyers said the photos and videos posted on the site had nothing to do with their client, as they were created using artificial intelligence. They also stressed that Kulichenko did not file a complaint with the police or try to remove the page on the portal selling explicit materials.

The President of the Cyprus Olympic Committee, Georgios Chrysostomou, commented on the appointment of Kulichenko as the flag bearer of the island’s national team, noting that he has no complaints about the choice of the athlete. He recalled that the athlete has Cypriot citizenship and is also a member of the Cyprus Amateur Athletics Federation (KOEAS), so there is no reason to replace her in this role. He added that there is also no evidence confirming the authenticity of the materials with the athlete on OnlyFans.

Earlier, Kulichenko also won the US Student Championship in Pennsylvania. On her third attempt, she cleared a height of 1.97 meters, setting a record.
