Korotyshkin said that swimmers at the Russian Cup can rent their own housing
The head of the Moscow Swimming Federation, Yevgeny Korotyshkin, assessed the criticism of Yulia Efimova’s team member regarding the living conditions at the Russian Cup final in Yekaterinburg. His words are quoted by Match TV.
According to the functionary, there are standards set by the Ministry of Sports. “If the conditions are not satisfactory, no one is stopping you from going to the city and renting an apartment, a bunker, living there and going to the pool. Anything that goes beyond the established funding is at your own expense, please,” Korotyshkin added.
Earlier, Efimova published a video review of the room she will be staying in during the competition. She laughed at its size, as well as the fact that there is one bathroom for two rooms.
The Russian Cup final will be held in Yekaterinburg from July 23 to 28. The competition will take place in the Palace of Water Sports.
