Alavés signs Hugo Novoa until 2029

Alavés has announced the signing of Hugo Novoa until 2029 after the agreement reached between the white and blue entity and the RasenBallsport Leipzig German for the transfer of the Galician footballer.
Novoa (21 years old) plays as a right back and is an under-21 international with the Spanish national team. The Galician, who arrives from RasenBallsport Leipzig, has played for the German club for the last five seasons.
He made his Bundesliga and Champions League debuts with the German side in 2021-22, as well as winning the German Cup in May 2022 and becoming the club’s youngest ever goalscorer. In 2023 he played on loan at Swiss side FC Basel, with whom he reached the semi-finals of the Conference League, and last season Villarreal B was his destination in LaLiga Hypermotion.
