Footballer Khudyakov explained his transfer to Shturm by his desire to play in European competitions
Russian goalkeeper Daniil Khudyakov explained his move from Moscow’s Lokomotiv to Austria’s Sturm. His words are quoted on the European team’s website.
The footballer said that he wanted to play in European competitions, and Shturm regularly does this. He stressed that the transfer will help him improve his results. “I want to work hard with other goalkeepers and the whole team, and I also hope that I can have a successful season,” Khudyakov added.
The 20-year-old goalkeeper’s transfer to Sturm became known earlier on July 22. The player joined the new club as a free agent, he signed a contract until 2028. The financial terms of the deal were not specified.
The goalkeeper is a product of Lokomotiv. He played all of the Railwaymen’s matches last season on the bench. The Transfermarkt portal estimates Khudyakov’s value at one million euros.
