On loan from Manchester City and a key player in Girona’s surprising campaign in the last edition of the Spanish Championship, right-back Yan Couto has attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund, who, according to the Spanish newspaper Sports world, has already made an offer to hire the Brazilian.
The Germans offered approximately R$150 million to the English, who would be willing to negotiate Yan Couto for around R$180 million, an amount lower than the athlete’s termination clause, around R$240 million.

Last season, Yan Couto wore the Girona shirt 39 times, scoring two goals and providing eight assists. The Brazilian was a regular right-back for the team, which finished third in La Liga and secured a spot in the next edition of the Champions League.
The 22-year-old full-back was also called up to the Brazilian national team and played in the Copa América in the United States.
Discovered by Coritiba, Yan Couto was bought by Manchester City in 2020. The player never entered the field for the English club, being loaned to Girona (2020-2021 and 2022-2024) and Braga (2021-2022), from Portugal.
For Girona, the Brazilian has already played 94 games, scoring five goals and providing 15 assists.
