On Tuesday, Barcelona announced the signing of striker Ferran Torres, from Manchester City, who signed a contract until 2027. The player will be presented on January 3, at the Camp Nou stadium.
The Spaniard has been in the city of Barcelona since last Sunday, when he arrived for medical examinations.

With passages in the lower categories of the Spanish national team, Ferran Torres arrived at City in August 2020, bought from Valencia for 23 million euros (R$ 149 million currently). In total, the young man has 43 matches, scoring 16 goals and four assists.
The player had had a few minutes this season under the command of Pep Guardiola. With the endorsement of coach Xavi Hernández, the coolies saw him as a good option for attack after Sergio Aguero’s early retirement.
The purchase price was not disclosed, however, according to the English press, the amount is around 45 million euros (approximately R$290 million) in addition to 10 million euros (R$64 million) in variables.
