After being fired from Vasco da Gama about a month ago, coach Álvaro Pacheco now has a new club. This Sunday afternoon, Al-Orobah, from Saudi Arabia, announced the hiring of the Portuguese manager.
Now in Saudi Arabia, Álvaro Pacheco is looking to get a job with completely different results from those he got at Vasco. In four games with the Rio de Janeiro team, he lost three and drew one. One of the defeats was the 6-1 defeat to Flamengo, at Maracanã.
Al-Orobah will be the sixth club that Álvaro Pacheco will manage in his career. Previously, he has been in charge of Fafe, Vizela, Estoril, Vitória de Guimarães and Vasco.

Al-Orobah played in the Saudi Arabian League Second Division last season and managed to gain promotion to the top flight, finishing in second place. Now, this season, the team will face opponents with great financial power, such as Al-Nassr, Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad.
Al-Orobah’s debut in this season’s Saudi Premier League is initially scheduled for August 23, in a match against Al-Ahli.
