Pogacar wins his third Tour de France after winning the final time trial

Slovenian Tadej Pogacar became the winner of the 2024 Tour de Francethe third of his career, after winning the final time trial in Nice, his sixth stage victory in this edition.
The Slovenian has chained his Tour victory with that of the Italy spinin which He also won six stagesand already has 17 partial victories in the French round, which he has contested on five occasions.
In the 33.7 kilometres between Monaco and Nice he flew to win the stage despite having already almost won the Tour, because he faced the final time trial with a lead of more than five minutes.
He has distanced the Dane by 1:03 Jonas Vingegaardwho took the last two Tours from him and who will be second at 6:17 behind the Slovenian, and 1:14 behind the Belgian Remco Evenepoelworld champion against the clock, who will be third overall in his first Tour at 9:18.
The fourth is the Portuguese Joao Alemidawho kept his position despite the Basque’s good time Mikel Landawho was seventh in the stage and finished fifth overall.
