Kevin De Bruyne’s midfielder is close to leaving Manchester City. According to the English newspaper Daily Mailthe Belgian star accepted the proposal offered by Al-Ittihad, from Saudi Arabia, and his sale is practically underway.
After reaching an agreement with the player, Al-Ittihad continues to negotiate amounts with Manchester City. The English club should choose to accept the offer in this transfer window to avoid the risk of losing De Bruyne for free at the end of the year. The midfielder has a contract with Pep Guardiola’s team until mid-2025.
According to the English newspaper, De Bruyne was listed as one of the main targets of Saudi football in February of this year. The Manchester City number 17 has even openly said that he would be happy to go to Saudi Arabia.

“At my age, you have to be open to everything. These are incredible amounts of money in what could be the final stretch of my career. Sometimes you have to think about it,” De Bruyne said in an interview with the Belgian media outlet. HLNin June.
“If I play there for two years, I could earn an incredible amount of money. Before that, I had to play football for 15 years. Maybe I haven’t even reached that amount yet,” he added.
De Bruyne has played for Manchester City since 2015, when he joined from Wolfsburg in Germany.
