England decided to find a head coach for the national football team through an advert

The Football Association of England has published a vacancy for a head coach

The Football Association of England (FA) has posted an advertisement on its website for the position of head coach of the national men’s team.

The first point of the job description states that the applicant must win a major tournament. In addition, the applicant must have a UEFA Pro licence and significant experience in English football.

Gareth Southgate resigned as England manager on July 16. The 53-year-old specialist left the post after the defeat to Spain in the Euro 2024 final. Southgate led the English team to the European Championship final for the second time in a row, but failed both times.

Southgate was appointed England manager in 2016. Since then, he has led the national team to every major tournament finals, but has never won a trophy. Before taking charge of the senior team, he spent three years coaching the youth team.
