Mother of Russian figure skater Parsegova complains about bullying at Plushenko’s school
Natalia Parsegova, the mother of Russian figure skater Arina Parsegova, complained about bullying during her daughter’s classes at the Angels of Plushenko school. Her words are quoted by Sport-Express.
According to Parsegova Sr., the bullying was organized by Lyudmila Sarnovskaya, who has three children studying at the academy. “They wanted to throw my child out of the hall because, according to one of the mothers, she should not have been training there with her child. I had to block the passage with my body,” the figure skater’s mother said.
Natalia Parsegova emphasized that bullying was one of the reasons for her daughter’s departure from “Angels of Plushenko” to join Eteri Tutberidze’s group. Now the school wants to collect 1.9 million rubles from the family through the court for breach of contract. The hearing will take place on July 17.
The Angels of Plushenko Figure Skating Academy was founded in 2017. The head of the school is two-time Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko.
