This Saturday, coach Antonio Conte gave a press conference and guaranteed the permanence of striker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and right-back Giovanni Di Lorenzo at Napoli.
“The president (Aurelio De Laurentiis) promised me and told me that they would stay and that is how it will be, I am very happy. Kvaratskhelia and Di Lorenzo are a fundamental part of our project,” he said.
Both athletes were targets of big clubs in Europe, but should remain with the Italian team.
However, the coach did not have the same confidence when commenting on the situation of Nigerian center forward Victor Osimhen, who could leave the team in this transfer window.
“I spoke to him and there is no change in his situation. He is a top player. Today he is a Napoli player, he needs to work hard, even if we have an agreement for a potential exit. We do not know the outcome of this story”, he said.
According to the newspaper Sports CourierPSG is one of those interested in Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia and has offered 200 million euros (around R$ 1.2 billion) for the duo. The Parisian club is still looking for a replacement for Kylian Mbappé, who signed with Real Madrid.
