On Saturday, former Lazio captain and top scorer Ciro Immobile reached an agreement with Besiktas and ended an eight-year spell with the Roman club, with over 200 goals scored, the Turkish club announced.
The deal is valid for two years and the striker will receive a net salary of six million euros (around R$35.5 million at the current exchange rate) per season, the Istanbul club said in a statement.

Immobile, 34, had a last season with many ups and downs, with only seven goals for Lazio, and lost his starting position, which meant he was not called up by Italy for the Euros in Germany, after having had an important performance in the continental title won by the Azzurri, in 2021.
The Italian’s mission will be to contribute goals to the attack of a team that last season finished sixth in the Turkish league, more than 40 points behind champions Galatasaray and second-placed Fenerbahçe, their two biggest rivals in Istanbul.
