UEFA updated its European club rankings on Friday, with Manchester City remaining in first place ahead of reigning Champions League winners Real Madrid, who moved up to second place and overtook Bayern Munich.
The ranking scores are based on the teams’ performance over the last five years. Therefore, the points earned in the 2019/20 season were removed and the 2024/25 score, which is still zero, was added.
Now, the Citizens have 123 thousand points, while the Merengues appear with 119 thousand and the Bavarians complete the podium with 108 thousand.
England is the country with the most teams in the top 10 of the ranking, with three teams: Manchester City (1st), Liverpool (4th) and Chelsea (9th). Italy, Spain and Germany each have two clubs and France has one.
With poor performances in the Champions League in recent years, Barcelona is only in 18th place. Other giants also appear outside the top ten, such as Manchester United (14th), Atlético de Madrid (17th), Arsenal (19th), Milan (22nd) and Juventus (23rd).
Check out the complete top 10:
